I usually don’t get starstruck, but when I met Troy in 2012 at the Kat Country 103 Listener Appreciation Concert, I couldn’t help it. He was larger then life and was so genuine and fun to be around. He was funny and charming and unpretentious. He cracked jokes and made everyone feel so appreciated and welcome.
What a sad day for the Gentry Family. We will forever mourn the loss of Troy in the Country Radio Family.
